What you’ll find in this hub

Each product in this section is built for owner-managed businesses who need things to work, first time and every time. Here you’ll find bite-sized kits for setting up shop, running weekly ops, keeping cash steady and sorting out paperwork headaches. If you’ve got a small engineering outfit off Atlas Road in Kempton Park or a guesthouse near Graaff-Reinet’s big church, you’ll pick up real, working fixes for your day-to-day headaches.

The full product range has moved, you’ll now find the kits under Kits & Starter Packs. This hub is your guidepost. Each card points to something specific, whether you’re chasing down new suppliers, managing your month-end or tackling VAT201s. For anything ongoing, our weekly rituals section keeps your routines tight.

How to choose the right tool

Start with the problem you’re facing. If you’re stuck on hiring (maybe you’re the only staff member at Mandoza’s Tyre Shop in Graaff-Reinet and need help with UIF or contracts), you’ll want our Hire Charm kit. For cash flow, Cash Spell helps you track every cent before a supplier payment runs late. There’s a kit or ritual for most jobs under twenty people need to get through the month.

If you're looking for advice on which supplier to trust for packaging in Pomona or electrical parts in Thembisa, the Supplier Notes page lists our latest, appointment-only supplier hubs. And remember, if you need a hand deciding, just send us an email at magic@bizmagic.co.za.

How products fit with your routines

Our kits and rituals are designed to snap onto the real steps you take, week-in and week-out. Launch Deck helps you finish your CIPC registration, while Chaos Reset is for when your team’s been hit by a week of Eskom load-shedding stage 6 and you’ve lost track of invoices. Most tools work together. For example, Pop-Up Charm works with Supplier Radar, grab both if you’re opening a fresh food stall at Kempton Park Taxi Rank and want your licences and supplier contacts in one place.

However, for anything that needs official sign-off, like VAT returns or COIDA, make sure an accountant or tax practitioner checks it over first, don’t just wing it. And if you’ve got a quick question (sometimes we all mix up a VAT201 with an EMP201), the best spot to get a nudge in the right direction is Support.

Stories from real founders

Sipho runs a small courier service out of Kempton Park. With load-shedding playing havoc, he grabbed the Cash Spell kit and now keeps a R4,500 buffer for fuel and tyres, so there’s always a van on the road. Down in Graaff-Reinet, Beryl’s bakery uses the Invoice Charm to make sure her month-end runs smoother, especially around the 25th when everyone wants their cheque sorted.

If you’re ready to pick your kit, start at Kits & Starter Packs. For ongoing habits that actually stick, even during school holidays, bookmark weekly rituals.
