Terms
The terms that apply to orders, kit materials, Counter Hour sessions and use of bizmagic.co.za.
Last updated 5 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of bizmagic.co.za and to kits, digital files and Counter Hour sessions supplied under the BizMagic Ops name by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock 1401, South Africa ("we", "us"). By ordering from us or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
Quotes and orders
We do not take orders through web forms. You request a kit or session by emailing magic@bizmagic.co.za. We reply with a pro forma invoice showing the items, the price, any courier charge and the validity period of the quote. An order is accepted when we confirm it by email and your payment has cleared in our bank account. We may decline an order, for example where an item is no longer available, and will refund anything already paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where VAT is payable. Payment is by electronic funds transfer to the account shown on our invoice. Please use the invoice number as your payment reference. We will never change our banking details by email; if you receive a message claiming that our account has changed, do not pay, and call or email us to check.
Delivery
Delivery times, courier costs, collection from supplier hubs and cross-border parcels are covered on our shipping and packs page, which forms part of these terms.
Licence to use kit materials
When you buy a kit, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, print and adapt its checklists, run sheets, cadence cards and scripts inside your own business, including for your staff and your own clients' projects. You may not resell, republish or share the files publicly, or package them as part of a competing product. All copyright and other intellectual property in the site and the materials remains with Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd or its licensors.
Counter Hour sessions
A Counter Hour is a booked session of up to sixty minutes with a BizMagic specialist, held at Observatory HQ, at a supplier hub or by video call. You may move a session free of charge if you tell us at least twenty-four hours before the start time. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. If we need to move a session, for example because of an outage at the venue, we will offer a new time or a full refund.
Guidance, not professional advice
Our kits and sessions give practical operating guidance for small businesses. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or immigration advice. Before you file with SARS or CIPC, sign a lease or employment contract, or make an investment decision, have the matter checked by a qualified attorney, accountant or registered tax practitioner. Laws, forms and deadlines change, and you remain responsible for your own compliance.
Your consumer rights
If you are a consumer as defined in the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, nothing in these terms limits the rights that Act gives you, including the right to safe, good quality goods and the right to a refund, repair or replacement for defective goods. Electronic purchases also carry the cooling-off right described on our shipping page.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost business or penalties imposed by third parties, arising from the use of our kits, sessions or site. Our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not exclude liability for gross negligence, fraud or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Using the site
You may browse and share links to the site freely. Please do not copy large parts of it, attempt to disrupt it, or use automated tools to scrape it. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. If a problem arises, email us first and we will try to resolve it within fourteen days. If it cannot be resolved, either party may refer the dispute to a court with jurisdiction in South Africa. Consumers may also approach the National Consumer Commission or an accredited ombud.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date of your order applies to that order. Questions go to magic@bizmagic.co.za. Please also read our privacy policy.
