Who team training is for

Whether you're the owner-operator of a 6-person tyre fitment in Alberton North or running a small Gqeberha bakery with your cousin and three good staff, BizMagic team training is built for real South African SMEs, not faceless corporates. It's for founders and their core teams using our rituals or kits in the actual day-to-day of running the business. If you want your team to actually, properly use the Cash Spell at month-end or make the Launch Deck a weekly habit, we’re here.

We’ve helped teams at places like Kgosi Mthembu Aluminium on Voortrekker Road organise their Supplier Radar, and a catering team in Motherwell use Invoice Charm for faster payments.

How team training works

Training is practical and email-based. You get step-by-step support in plain English, with the details relevant to your type of business. Everything fits your team’s current processes, whether your main supplier is a local tool hire in Alberton or an import agent at the Coega port. Here’s how our support process works for team training:

  • Send your training request by email to magic@bizmagic.co.za. See below for exactly what to include.
  • Our support operator sends you an intake checklist to get basic details about your team, typical challenges and which BizMagic kit or ritual you want to train on.
  • You’ll get back a tailored training plan, usually within 1 working day (sometimes by midday if the request comes early).
  • Once you confirm the plan, we’ll send practical, SA-focused materials and tips for your named staff, straight to your email. This can include step-by-step ritual cheatsheets, calendar suggestions for your team WhatsApp, and supplier shortlist sheets.
  • If anyone gets stuck or confused (it happens alot), just keep replying to the same email thread for as many rounds as needed. No web forms, no tickets.
  • If something is beyond practical support (like payroll taxes or custom contracts), we’ll recommend a registered professional or escalate it internally for advanced help.

If you’re interested in how weekly ops rituals actually fit into your team's existing schedule, see the details under cadences.

What to email us for support

Pop an email to magic@bizmagic.co.za with the details below, so we can help your team faster. We’re here on working days, from 08:30 to 16:30 SA time. Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and the odd highveld thunderstorm that knocks out the power.

  • Your business name and suburb (e.g. Mlungisi’s Tyres, Alberton North).
  • Main contact person (name and role, like Thandeka, owner-manager).
  • How many people are in your team and their main roles.
  • Which BizMagic kit or ritual you want help with (e.g. Ritual Pack, Invoice Charm, Cash Spell).
  • Any current challenges (e.g. missed month-end, double capturing, slow supplier payments, PAYE confusion).
  • Preferred language (English or Afrikaans works best, but we can help with basic Xhosa too).

Teams who use our supplier shortlists or rituals often also check the resources page for updated guides and practical business templates.

Response times and escalation

When you email us, you’ll hear back the same business day, unless it’s after 15:00 or during a sudden Stage 6 in Gauteng. For most common training requests, you get a proper answer (not an automated note) within 24 hours. Complex queries that need specific supplier hub input (for example, scheduling a walk-through at our Midrand or Woodstock supplier hubs) may take up to 2 working days, but we’ll always confirm by email first.

If your training request needs more technical or legal detail, we’ll escalate it. That means our senior ops manager or partner from Astros reviews it, or we refer you to a registered accountant or attorney. You’ll still get feedback from us, but you might need to gather documents like a CIPC registration or a VAT201, depending on the issue.
